Coming to Life: The Birth of a Station

In the midst of establishing a promising career in the radio and television industry, Quinn Davis felt the need to follow Jesus’ call of ministry on his life. This resulted in him leaving broadcasting behind for Bible College and eventually full time ministry as the Assistant Pastor of Rocky Mountain Calvary Chapel. Though he stepped away from broadcasting as a career, the idea of using radio to minister the love of Jesus to others was something he never lost a vision for.

In early 2009, after nearly 20 years in ministry, this vision for a Radio Ministry started to take shape as the Lord provided the right resources and people to execute a plan to further the impact of Senior Pastor Glen Nudd’s teachings by broadcasting them in radio format.

Alongside wanting to air Pastor Glen’s messages came the possibility to birth an entire station that was committed to proclaiming the truth of Jesus Christ through solid Biblical teaching and praise & worship music. The result is Priority 1, a station we are proud of because it doesn’t boast about us, it boasts about Jesus Christ, our number one priority. Without Him, this project would be nothing!
